If you are having issues with our Chrome Extension, here are some items to troubleshoot.
SSO Login Issues
As of this writing (October 11th, 2023) there has been a recent update to the Chrome browser that adds a new experimental feature for "third-party storage partitioning". This feature breaks a core function of our extension which is required for SSO logins through the Chrome Extension to work.
You can disable this feature by navigating to chrome://flags/#third-party-storage-partitioning and explicitly disabling this Experimental third-party storage partitioning
flag.
After disabling this flag, you should be able to log in via the Chrome Extension using SSO without any issues.
For all other issues, please review the following:
First, confirm that you've satisfied all of the prerequisites listed below.
If you are using Greenhouse:
- Your organization has completed the Greenhouse <> CodeSignal integration setup steps.
- Your organization has access to CodeSignal Interview.
- You are logged into both CodeSignal and Greenhouse simultaneously.
- There is a valid email address listed on the candidate's profile in Greenhouse.
- You have downloaded and enabled CodeSignal's Chrome Extension.
If you are using Lever:
- Your organization has access to CodeSignal Interview.
- You are logged into both CodeSignal and Lever simultaneously.
- There is a valid email address listed on the candidate's profile in Lever.
- You have downloaded and enabled CodeSignal's Chrome Extension.
If the problem persists, then...
- Ensure that your browser and device have been updated.
- Restart your computer.
- Try uninstalling and reinstalling the browser extension.
