Does your company use structured interviews and want to specify a template for interviewers to use in their coding interviews? You can lock a template to a CodeSignal interview session when you create the interview URL.
This article describes how to lock a template to your interview session when you create a new interview session from either:
Lock a template from your CodeSignal dashboard
Step 1. From your CodeSignal account, go to the Interview tab and click the + CREATE button.
Step 2. In the Create an Interview pop-up, fill out the relevant fields:
- Candidate Name
- Labels
- Team Ownership
- Interview Template. Select the appropriate template for the interview session.
- Lock Template. Toggle this on to lock the template to the interview, which means that an interviewer cannot change the template associated with this interview session.
- Session Expiration
Click GO TO INTERVIEW on the left to enter the interview session, or click CREATE if you do not need to access the interview immediately.
Lock a template from the CodeSignal Chrome extension
Step 1. Add the CodeSignal Chrome Extension to your browser, click on the CodeSignal extension icon, and log into your CodeSignal account.
Step 2. Click CREATE INTERVIEW LINK and fill out the relevant fields:
- Candidate's name
- Labels
- Team Ownership
- Interview Template. Select the appropriate template for the interview session.
- Lock With Template. Toggle this on to lock the template to the interview, which means that an interviewer cannot change the template associated with this interview session.
Then, click CREATE.
