A new set of product updates is in full bloom! This May, we're highlighting three great updates from our Product and Engineering teams:
Introducing AI-Assisted Coding Assessments
These days, many engineers regularly use AI as their co-pilot for coding projects. Our new AI-Assisted Coding Assessments allow candidates to leverage our fully integrated AI Assistant, Cosmo, during the assessment. This empowers interviewers to better evaluate how candidates perform in job-relevant scenarios where they would naturally be using AI.
In order to make AI-Assisted Assessments and Interviews possible, we had to rethink our question strategy from the ground up. After all, AI can easily ace traditional interview questions. With AI-Assisted Coding Assessments, the overall evaluation experience is far more robust and realistic.
Plus, we’re also adding Cosmo access to CodeSignal Interview! That means you can leverage an integrated AI co-pilot in both Assessments and Interviews to get a stronger, holistic signal about how candidates use these tools.

Introducing the iOS Engineering Assessment
Also hot off the press is our new iOS Engineering Assessment. This Certified Assessment is designed to evaluate core mobile engineering skills used in iOS development, like proficiency with SwiftUI and data persistence.
iOS engineers work with a unique set of tools and constraints, and hiring for these positions is not so straightforward. You won't see a candidate's full range of iOS engineering skills using a more general assessment of coding skills. The iOS Engineering Assessment fills in the gaps and presents a more nuanced view of a candidate's preparedness for this type of role.
