This month's theme: reliability and polish. August's release focused on proctoring enhancements, more flexible scoring, and a streamlined coding environment for candidates.
Highlights
- Proctoring reliability enhancements. Proctored sessions run even more smoothly, and if a recording connection drops, candidates are notified right away so they can reconnect and keep going.
- Weighted questions in your Coding Score. Question weights now factor into the Coding Score, giving you finer control over how much each question contributes to a candidate's overall score.
- Autocomplete status you can see and restart. Candidates can now view autocomplete's connection status right in the IDE and restart it if it drops, avoiding silent interruptions while coding.
Assessments & Interviews
- More resilient proctoring. Proctored sessions are better prepared for any connection hiccups, and if a recording connection drops, the session keeps going and proactively lets the candidate know so they can reconnect without losing their place.
- Weighted questions in the Coding Score. Question weights now count toward the Coding Score, so individual question weighting is reflected in the score.
- Clearer wording when an assessment loads in a live interview. Tidied up the messaging candidates see while an assessment is loading inside a live interview.
Questions, IDE & Simulation
- Autocomplete status and reconnect in the IDE. Autocomplete's connection status is now visible in the IDE, and candidates can restart the connection if it drops.
- Cleaner question flow in interviews. Each question now loads a single time in an interview, giving candidates a smooth, uninterrupted experience.
