You can configure the languages in which you will accept solutions for each coding question in any CodeSignal assessment. In this article, we provide instructions for restricting languages when:
Creating a new assessment
1. From the Select questions stage of creating a new assessment, select a question to use in your assessment.
Then, click the right arrow in the bottom right corner of the pop-up window.
2. You will now see options to restrict the language(s) for the question. All languages will be selected by default; un-check the Select all box to de-select all languages.
After you have selected the language(s) you would like to allow test-takers to use for the question, click DONE in the bottom right.
3. Remember to click the green CREATE button in the top right when you are ready to launch your assessment!
Editing an existing assessment
1. Click on the assessment you'd like to edit. From the vertical ... menu in the top right, select Edit.
2. Next, click the pencil icon to the right of the question you'd like to edit.
Note: If you'd like to restrict all questions in the assessment to a specific language(s), you will need to update these one question at a time.
3. Click the right arrow in the bottom right corner of the pop-up window to edit the language(s) allowed.
After you have selected the language(s) you would like to allow test-takers to use for the question, click DONE in the bottom right.
