From there, you can:
- View your assigned tracks

- Continue where you left off
Completing a track
What is a track?
A track is a structured learning path that combines courses and assessments in a specific sequence.
Tracks are designed to guide you through content step by step, helping you build skills and demonstrate proficiency along the way.
Do I need to complete content in order?
While you must complete lessons and practice activities within a course in order, you may complete courses within a track in any order you choose. However, we recommend completing courses within a track in order for the best learning experience.
How do assessments work?
Assessments are automatically provisioned as part of your track.
When you reach an assessment in a track, simply click the link in order to complete it.
Will I need to repeat work I've already completed?
CodeSignal automatically recognizes your existing learning progress. If you've previously completed a course within in a newly assigned track, that progress will be reflected automatically.
However, assessments must be completed again within an assigned learning track.
How do I know how much I've completed?
You can monitor your progress at any time from the track page.
Your progress updates as you complete courses and assessments, helping you see what remains before the track is complete.
You may also receive reminders and in-product notifications encouraging you to continue your learning.
When is a track considered complete?
A track is marked complete when you have successfully completed all required courses and assessments within that track.
Once complete:
- The track status changes to Completed
- A completion date is recorded
- You receive a track certificate
Do I receive a certificate?
Yes. After completing all required content in a track, you'll receive a certificate recognizing your completion of that learning path.
Progress and timing
How is track duration determined?
Track duration is an estimated completion time based on the amount of content included.
Each course or assessment contributes to the overall duration estimate. The final estimate is rounded to the nearest half month.
Actual completion time may vary depending on your schedule and pace of learning.
Can my manager or administrator see my progress?
Yes. Your organization's administrators can view learner progress, including completion status and progress within assigned tracks.
Using Cosmo
What is Cosmo?
Cosmo is CodeSignal's AI learning assistant that can help support your learning experience.
What can Cosmo help me with?
Depending on your organization's configuration, Cosmo can help you:
- Understand concepts covered in your learning content
