We're wrapping up the year with another batch of exciting product updates. Our Product and Engineering teams are bringing you three exciting highlights this month:
- Introducing the Basic Coding Assessment
- AI Interviewer functionality expanded for Customer Success and Support roles
- New hands-on learning paths are now available
Introducing the Basic Coding Assessment
Our new Basic Coding Assessment is a Certified Evaluation powered by our robust Basic Coding Framework. Short and sweet, it takes just 25 minutes to complete and is made up of two questions that both target basic coding and implementation skills. It's perfect for early-career team members like interns and bootcamp hires.
The Basic Coding Assessment is significantly easier than the General Coding Assessment, but don't be fooled—behind this approachable assessment is a powerful Framework written by subject matter experts and validated by Industrial-Organizational Psychologists. Plus, it's maintained by CodeSignal, so your assessment will always be up to date.

AI Interviewer functionality expanded for Customer Success and Support roles
Last month we introduced AI Interviewer, a paradigm shift in efficiency for your hiring team. Now, AI Interviewer has exciting new abilities to help streamline hiring for Customer Success and Support roles.
Customer Success positions revolve around building interpersonal relationships and managing customer expectations. You might already be employing role-playing in your interviews for these positions, playing the part of a dissatisfied customer and allowing the candidate to showcase their skills. AI Interviewer can now automate that process, adding AI-driven role-plays to your human-led screens.
Conversations with AI Interviewer save time for your hiring team while gathering the information they need to make informed decisions. With this additional role-play functionality, you can integrate AI Interviewer into your workflow for even more positions.
