We have some product updates we're sure you’ll fall for this month. We're highlighting three excellent features from our Product and Engineering teams:
- Redesigned assessment center
- New email notifications for proctoring updates
- Reminder: Help your candidates build soft skills
Redesigned assessment center
We've redesigned the CodeSignal assessment center to offer your candidates more access to impactful, relevant learning opportunities. Now, candidates who click through to explore their pending requests or recent assessments will also see learning paths related to their career interests.
Being able to take an active role in preparing for assessments with realistic practice opportunities will help your candidates grow their skills and their confidence. When candidates feel secure in bringing their best to a Pre-Screen, you receive an even more precise hiring signal!

New email notifications for proctoring updates
Proctoring adds a layer of security and trustworthiness to your Pre-Screen results, but it can be easy to lose track of where candidates are in the proctoring flow. This month, we've expanded our email notification offerings to make it even easier to keep tabs on proctored Pre-Screens.
When you subscribe to Pre-Screen notifications, you'll now see emails about completions, expirations, and proctoring rejections. The email notifications will distinguish between those sessions that were rejected for technical reasons and those that were rejected for suspicious activity, giving you granular insight into proctoring updates without needing to reference the UI.

Reminder: Help your candidates build soft skills
We'd also like to take a moment to remind you about an exciting new tool that can help your candidates put their best foot forward in interviews. Candidates can access our new soft skills learning paths for free and unlock new levels of confidence in their conversation skills.
When you encourage your candidates to explore the soft skills paths in CodeSignal Learn, you open the door for them to grow as communicators by engaging in real-world practice conversations in a safe, judgment-free environment. Feedback from our AI tutor, Cosmo, makes practice sessions meaningful while reducing the awkwardness of live practice.
Building confidence in conversational skills helps candidates showcase their talents in an interview setting. But regardless of whether candidates move along in your funnel, they'll gain valuable skills that they'll be able to use throughout their careers. After they're set on interview practice, candidates can continue growing with paths about leadership and effective teamwork.
