May we interest you in some product updates? Our Product and Engineering teams have been hard at work this month, and we'd like to highlight two of our favorite new features:
Archive Pre-Screen and Interview results
Data privacy is of the utmost importance to CodeSignal. In support of our continued candidate privacy goals, we're adding the ability to archive candidate Pre-Screen and Interview results. This will make it easier to silo candidate information after a hire has been made, without completely deleting information that might be useful in the future.
Once results are archived using either the CodeSignal UI or the API, only users with compatible permissions will be able to see those results. The results can also be un-archived if necessary. Archiving can be done in bulk, and archived results will still be used to calculate benchmarks for your Analytics views.
By default, only Company Admins can archive results. Learn more about the different types of user roles here:
Create your own code review questions
Previously available only through GraphQL, you can now create code review questions directly from the CodeSignal UI! Code review questions assess a candidate's ability to critically study and give feedback on existing code. Common use cases for this type of question include asking candidates to identify errors, suggest improvements, or evaluate the code's efficiency and readability.
Code review questions can illustrate a candidate's attention to detail, ability to optimize code, and understanding of best coding practices. They can also be a good jumping-off point for identifying a candidate's technical communication style.
