CodeSignal’s skill evaluation solutions are designed to create a friendly and simple experience for customers and candidates alike.
Candidate Experience Overview
- You as the hiring manager or recruiter invite candidates to take a specific Tech Screen framework evaluation, based on the position you are hiring for and the skills needed for the role.
- Candidates receive an email inviting them to complete the selected Tech Screen. All the resources to help candidates prepare for the session will be included in the email.
- Candidates use the self-service scheduling tools to select their preferred date & time.
- Candidates then log into Zoom at their scheduled time and meet with an Interview Experience Manager who will help them set up, familiarize them with the CodeSignal’s IDE, answer any questions, and remain on the line throughout the interview.
- Candidates can choose any of the 40+ languages we support to complete their Tech Screen. (Note that some frameworks may require a specific coding language because they are designed to test the proficiency in that particular language.)
- The candidate is then presented with one question containing 4 progressive levels to measure specific skills defined in the frameworks. Once the candidate has completed each level, they can move onto the next.
- After the candidate submits their evaluation, they canreceive optional feedback based on the progress made throughout the evaluation. A numerical score can be found in the CodeSignal Candidate Portal upon completion.
